Ask before running

The picker under the field (Ask, Accept edits, Auto) decides what Folto AI asks before acting. Your choice is remembered.

Mode	What Folto AI asks about
Ask	Asks before changing existing board items, files, or running commands.
Accept edits	Applies board and file edits without asking. Asks only before running commands.
Auto	Proceeds without asking. Pinned items are never touched, and changes can be undone

When it asks

You’ll see what it wants to change. Allow continues; Don’t Allow stops. If you don’t want to be asked about the same kind of action again, choose Don’t Ask Again in This Project. You can undo that later under Project Settings… › Always allow.

Caution

For commands that can’t be undone, such as deleting files or sending data out, check the details before allowing — in every mode. Pushing always asks.

Pinned items stay put

Items you pinned on the board (⇧⌘L) are never changed by Folto AI, in any mode.
